What is Baghchal?
Baghchal is a two-player strategy game played on a board of 25 points. One player takes four tigers, the other takes twenty goats, and the two sides win in completely different ways. There are no dice and no cards — every position comes from a decision somebody made.
The tigers win by capturing five goats, jumping over a single goat into the empty point directly beyond it. The goats never capture anything. They win by leaving all four tigers with no legal move at all. Goats arrive one per turn and cannot move until every one of the twenty is on the board.
